Year 5 London Residential

Year Fives have had an amazing time in London with Mrs Laurence this week. Even the showery weather could not dampen the spirits of our seven intrepid explorers. In a jam-packed week, the children have visited the Houses of Parliament; flown on the London Eye; found out about Henry VIII's wives at the Tower of London and been to London Zoo. On the first day they toured the Warner Brothers Studios and went behind the scenes of the world of Harry Potter. They have visited famous landmarks such as Tower Bridge and Buckingham Palace and been to the West End to watch a production of Hercules. On the way home today, the children visited 'Steam' the Museum of the GWR and had a workshop about the railways during the Second World War. What a fantastic residential and what a great bunch of children. Thanks to Mrs Laurence for taking them.
