We enjoyed visiting the woods as a class. We split into three groups and had chance to look carefully and find different types of leaves, berries and nuts.

We ticked off the things which we found on our autumn trail spotter chart.

We also sat quietly in the woods and listened to the different sounds which we could hear, we recorded them on a sound map.

We walked carefully around the trees in the woods and found six tiny fairy doors. We drew our favourite doors and imagined a creature who may live inside.

It was great fun!
