We all had a fantastic time away at St George's House last week. The weather was reasonably kind and we did all of the planned activities. These included fencing, rock-pooling, canoeing & kayaking, body-boarding & surfing, rock scrambling & climbing and, of course, the Year 6s abseilled from Baggy Point. We also completed a history trail, a treasure hunt and the Year 3s made some crafty rock creatures. We visited a local farm and saw some lambs being born and took part in 'The Big Friendly Get-together. All the staff at the centre commented on how well-behaved and polite the children were, and what a credit they were to themselves and our school.
