The children received a letter from Anthony Alien, who's spaceship was hit by a meteor and crashed to the Earth. He provided the children with a challenge to build him a new spaceship to help him get home to the Moon. The children have worked hard in small groups to Design, Develop and Make spaceships which have specific features. They have had to ensure that their spaceship is free standing, has 2 windows, a door, is brightly coloured, glows in the dark and has a fact card to explain how the spaceship works.
