The Department for Education coronavirus helpline is available to answer questions about COVID-19 relating to education and children’s social care.

The helpline will remain open over the May Bank Holiday weekend for staff, parents and young people as follows:
10am to 4pm – Saturday, Sunday and Monday
Our standard opening hours will resume on Tuesday 26 May:
8am to 6pm – Monday to Friday
10am to 4pm – Saturday and Sunday

Devon County Council's Open letter to parents regarding school re-opening
An open letter for parents has been prepared which outlines DCC’s current position around schools re-opening from 1st June. This is attached and will be posted on the Devon County Council website.
Monday 11th May 2020
The Government has recently announced its intention to allow Primary schools to re-open to children in the Early Years, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6, with provision being offered after the half term break - 1st June 2020.
This area of the website has been designed to keep you up to date with how this phased return to school could be implemented while giving very careful consideration to all aspects of school life.
